Forget Henley... the summer’s biggest waterside fixture is on the River Wey in Guildford. The annual duck race for local charity, Surrey Care Trust, features eye-catching, 2ft-long, yellow ducks .
But this fun event is more than just a jolly June jape. It also helps the charity raise serious amounts of money for its work, thanks to generous local companies who respond to our Appeal to make a £300 donation to sponsor a duck.
The Trust works across Surrey, creating life-changing opportunities for people of all ages through innovative education, and giving practical help to people facing hardship through its Crisis Grants fund.
